It will probably kill me to take control of my 10 million photos, zillion emails, shared calendar, hundreds of docs, etc etc but I'm going to try to quit Google.

I gave a lecture today and included this picture on a slide, so that is my one nod to cultural relevance. Back to 90s-kid jokes no one gets for the rest of the semester.

I just received the reader's reports for my book and they are *so* helpful. Our profession relies on a lot of behind-the-scenes, anonymous labor and I am filled with deep gratitude for the many people who took time to engage with my work in the past several months.
