I just re-read Mansfield Park and loved it again. But Fanny Price is hard to love. Persuasion is very quietly comedic.
And the oat milk in bulk and shrimp platters. I'm bummed that they've mostly stopped selling books.
I liked this, but I liked The Woman in the Library better. I just got an ARC of a new one by her, Five Found Dead. Comes out in August and looks really good.
I just finished Jennifer Cody Epstein's The Madwomen of Paris. Excellent historical novel about Charcot's hysteria hospital in the 1880s. The plot is fabulous!
You're killing me! I can't help myself! ๐
I'm purposely NOT liking all the cat posts in my feed because I don't want to train the algorithm to serve them up to me nonstop. But it's sure taking some self control not to love them all. (And how long until Bluesky finds out what a sucker I am for talking dogs?)
I've got the same question!
