I dunno, any day when Tesla stock is down has at least a glimmer of goodness. :)

Bluesky's choice of a heart as the only way to react to a post is giving me increasing cognitive dissonance. Just sayin'...
I believe this is the official site to donate to Ukraine, but please verify it for yourself: u24.gov.ua
Wikipedia has a good writeup on the organization, including a link to a US NGO that will allow you to deduct your contribution if you itemize US taxes: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United24
The planes are going to fall out of the sky anyway. Who cares if someone blows them up first? </s>
I figured they just forgot the "wards" at the end.
Welcome back to The Resistance!
Today we continue with our series of practical tips that we encourage everyone to consider - whether to prepare for imperial craziness or just to have a little piece of mind.

Yes. Maybe there are cracks.
That's the trillion-dollar question. :( From what I understand, the Democrats in Congress are limited to fighting via lawsuits. Would be nice if they started showing strong, united leadership and some out-of-the-box thinking. I keep hoping some Republicans will grow a spine, but no sign of that yet.
Not yet! But the time we have to stop them is definitely getting shorter and shorter.
Maybe only the US history books. Hopefully Europe and Asia will still tell the truth.
I mean... can't hurt to ask? But I wish he'd donated that money to Ukraine instead.
Plus that time would be better spent on other activities.
As a user experience designer, this hits close to home. Thanks to everyone of 18F for your service, and for sharing your story.
Welcome back to The Resistance!
We like to keep things as snarkely light as a slide into incompetent dystopia permits… but things are serious and over the next couple days we will share practical recommendations we have made to family and friends.
These are a few.
Go, Vermont!!! ❤️
Lucy is from Arlington, MA. ❤️
As long as they all vote blue in the mid-terms. (Which we'll hopefully have.)
Sadly, they owe me money. (Not a lot, thankfully.) But I wonder if this is something the states could do.
I felt like my FB feed was more like:
DOOM
"I'm having dental troubles. :("
"Just got my visa to move to Portugal! Leaving in a month. <3"
DOOM
"Here's an invite to my party next weekend!"
"Found a great new restaurant in Somerville. Check it out!"
DOOM
Also, there are WAY too many photos of the kakistocracy members here. Bad for my appetite.
I know, right??? I'm like, "doom, doom, doom... OMG, someone posted about their aloe plant! How am I supposed to react to that if it's not DOOM?" 😆 Sadly, FB felt a lot more balanced.
Thanks for asking this. Lots of informative answers I hadn't thought of.
Oops, guess I shouldn't pay bills today, either. Fortunately they can all wait till tomorrow.
I tend to click on them without thinking. :( Safer for me to stay away completely. Although I think I need to follow more people on Bsky who aren't constantly posting doom.
That sounds like a good reason to stop at Buy Nothing. No reason to endanger your livelihood!
Can't click on ads if you don't have it open...
It was, but why stop there? :) I've been boycotting FB for 6 days now (with an exception today to check if my friend's wife posted anything else about his memorial service in SC on Saturday). Another 10 to go!
I still don't understand why anyone believes anything he's ever said.
Possibly better to litter than to get picked up for property damage for putting a real bumper sticker on them.
