I wonder if anyone understands why they do this - burning a couple of tanks does nothing really. Wouldn't it be better to instead concentrate these attacks and burn all or most of the tanks in one refinery and then move to another? Do they try to spread the ruscist air defence?

I'm fairly certain we tried this before and both France and Britain ended up w egg on their face and zero credibility since they had betrayed Czechoslovakia for a temporary "peace for land."

It is not that one-way. They get dollars for oil but buy bullets and soldiers for rubles. The weaker the ruble the more bullets and soldiers they can buy for each dollar they get for their oil. This ruble weaking is possible intentional as they are running out of money.
