The Atlantic is an absolute bloodbath.
i have to go vote there and idk who the hell to pick, doing "electoral math" and all that just sucks
Give 5 minutes to a slow bit from Bridesmaids and then immediately play off the Golden winners after EJAE... tough
That's IRS Free File which still exists, for all it's faults it is still a reasonable option if you're under 89K AGI: apps.irs.gov/app/freefile
FreeTaxUSA is just another service like TurboTax, H&R Block, etc.
I was able to get it to go away by just ignoring it and writing code, and then it went away on its own and that seemed to stick. 🤷Neat project though!
This is really cool! Took a crack at it and had fun (78%). Minor bug report though: went to keep tweaking after the time ran out, and the "Challenge Complete!" modal keeps re-appearing every few seconds, no matter how many times I dismiss it.
STOP scrolling. Go to your senators' websites and fill out the contact form. You can copy/paste the message below or write your own. It will take less than 2 minutes.
I gotta go to the West side more all these look so so good!
Outrage is legit, I got gifted it like 2 years ago and I miss having it on my shelf
And Merrick Garland officiated? Wild.
I saw this library just a couple weeks ago and picked it up for a side project, it's a delight!
Good reason to stay cancelled, then.
I love this book so much. Just blitzed through it.

Why are 3 helicopters circling my neighborhood? At 6am?
I like having dark mode set for the OS, but often websites have _really_ dark dark modes, and they can be hard to read during the day.
The hardest job in the world is finding new versions of Georgia for the ads for the Masters
No there aren't and maybe you could report on that?
This is amazing and I'm very bad at picking words
that was brutal
Haha ok
I know it's not a requirement, but it's something I personally think is valuable and something I take under consideration when voting. (I'm planning on voting for not-Schakowsky since I don't want an 80-year old rep but I'd prefer to vote for somebody who lives where I do)
i mean given i live in the district i kinda care that the person I vote for lives there too
I think we're frankly on a pretty similar page here - I also think she should retire (who wants to work at 80?), but she's been a progressive for a long time and I think it's important to recognize that. I'd like new folks to run here in IL-09 not because she sucks but because she's old.
If you mean dinosaur, you can say that too, but just saying "dino" tends to conjure up "democrat-in-name-only".
Very aware! Which is why I said she should probably retire on her own. What do you think DINO means? Does it just mean "old" to you?
I've got nothing against Kat doing a primary challenge, that's what primaries are for, and Schakowsky should probably retire on her own, but Schakowsky is in no way a DINO and has been super progressive for a long time.
