The last of the three Rover SD1 Vitesse launch colours (& also used here by the simultaneously introduced MG Metro Turbo).
So, why the limited colours you might ask?
Well, there was only one interior colour available at launch.
I’m also debating doing the same to this Stanier 4P kit for the Dublo 2-6-4T chassis, a freebie from @danielletheproto.bsky.social’s model railway club that’s been sitting on my desk a while, as I haven’t a chassis to spare, but seeing as I finally have one to test on…
