They were active in the United States between 2007 and 2011 and originated to disrupt, sabotage, and protest against the 2008 RNC and DNC Conventions. Members of the original Bash Back! Network are reviving the movement and have organized a new Bash Back! International convergence advertised as BB23 on September 8-11, 2023 in Chicago, IL. According to their website they currently have 45 active chapters nationwide and are "dedicated to the legal, safe, and responsible use of firearms for self-defense of the sexu-al-minority community". Their mission statement reads, "Self-defense is our right. We teach queer people to shoot, and then we teach the world that we have done so." In 2018 the Pink Pistols merged with Operation Blazing Sword another LGBTQ gun club that was founded in 2016 after the Pulse nightclub mass shooting in Orlando, Florida. (LES) Pink Pistols Gun Club Slogans: The official motto of the Pink Pistols gun club is "Pick on someone your own caliber". A second slogan that appears with their symbol is "Armed gays don't get bashed" A variation of the phrase is "Armed queers don't get bashed". (LES) Pink Pistols Symbol: The Pink Pistols' symbol consists of an overhead view of a pictogram person aiming a handgun in an isosceles stance superimposed on a pink triangle. The pink triangle is a symbol of gay pride and gay rights that originated from a badge that homosexual concentration camp victims were forced to wear during the Holocaust.

(LES) TRANARCHIST SLOGANS (LES) Queer Liberation Not Rainbow Capitalism is a slogan that appears on social media, at protests and on mer-chandise. It is a reference to 'rainbow capitalism', aka pink capitalism or pinkwashing, a term used to describe the commercialization and commodification of LGBTQ movements, most notably Pride month. Rainbow Capitalism is considered a type of exploitation where instead of companies supporting LGBTQ causes and communities they are actually making merchandise for-profit and capitalizing on the trend. As a result, instead of Pride events being about LGBTQ rights and freedoms, it is about capitalism centering on corporate interests, consumerism and profits. Queer liberation groups are considered the far left of the LGBT movement whose goals and strategies differ from mainstream equality organiza-tions. Tranarchists like other anarchists denounce capitalism and believe that LGBTQ oppression is intertwined in capitalist production and reproduction. Tranarchists reject assimilation into the institutions of a heteronormative society and believe that Trans Liberation can only be achieved by overthrowing capitalism.

The slogan next to the rifles has been perceived as a threat of violence to those who oppose transgender views. (LES) Queers Bash Back, Bash Back, or Armed Queers Bash Back appears on protest signs, social media, posters and merchandise, sometimes accompanied by images of an assault rifle, written on fists or baseball bats. The phrase 'Queers Bash Back' was coined in 1990 by Queer Nation militant activists and used by gay street patrols that were organized to defend against gay bashing. 'Queers Bash Back' is often next to the phrase anti-racist action and depicted with the LGBTQ triangle symbol smashing a swastika. (LES) Trans Day of Vengeance & Every Day Is Trans Day of Vengeance is a slogan, meme, poster and protest banner that is used by the transgender community to signify that they will fight back against oppression. Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN) renamed an April 1, 2023 protest from 'Trans Day of Visibility' to 'Trans Day of Vengeance' provoking criticism that it would incite violence. TRAN co-founder described the phrase as a battle cry and explained that "visibility was no longer enough" and that "vengeance" means "fighting back with vehemence." 'Every Day Is Trans Day of Vengeance' appears on social media and merchandise depicted next to an image of a hand holding a knife.

(LES) TRANARCHIST SLOGANS (LES) TERF: Tranarchists use the acronym TERF' to disparage their opponents as trans-exclusionary radical feminists. They frequently threaten 'TERFs' with violence on social media and use the slogans 'Punch TERFS', 'Kill the TERFS' and "No TERFs on Our Turf". The term originated in 2008 and was initially used to distinguish transgender-inclusive feminists from gender-critical feminists who reject the claim that trans women are women, are against including trans women in women's spac-es, and against transgender rights legislation. Trans-inclusive feminists assert that gender-critical feminist positions are transphobic and discriminatory towards transgender people. The use of the term TERF has since expanded to include any person opposing trans views including controversial government gender policies. The term is considered derogatory or disparaging. TERF has also been characterized as hate speech and a tactic to silence opinions and incite violence.
(LES) Terfenstein 3D: A transgender programmer developed Terfenstein 3D, a first person shooter video game in which players kill TERFs, women and others critical of transgender ideology. The player hunts down TERFs and other critics of trans ideolo-gy, who in the game's universe have taken over society and turned it into a fascist dystopia. In the game fascists have killed and imprisoned all transgender and LGBTQ people, subjecting them to harsh conversion therapy, imprisonment, and death. Players are escaping the prison and taking revenge by gunning down their enemies which are women, priests and guard dogs. The title is a reference to Wolfenstein 3D, a video game where the player escapes from a Nazi German prison Castle called Wolfenstein during World War II. The game developer said that Terfenstein 3D was designed to "draw a comparison between gender critics and Nazi Germany." The graphics include Nazi-style banners with an XX symbol. The XX on the enemies banners may symbolize the two X chromosomes (XX) that signify biological females.
