Opinion | Measles Took My Daughter. This Is What I Want Everyone to Know.

Measles is NOT "just like chickenpox". It can kill years later. This woman was so brave for coming forward with her story.

Lab Leak Fever with Philipp Markolin
Lab Leak Fever with Philipp Markolin YouTube video by Decoding the Gurus

I have to disagree on this.

There has been massive amounts of piecemeal scientific inquiry that build up a compelling body of evidence speaking against a lab origin.

On top if that, a lot of "human" intelligence came also to light discrediting ideas of a lab leak. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrsV...

Another advantage: while traditional tilted panels facing south show midday saturation, peaking when the grid is often full & prices low, the vertical bifacial system facing east/west shifts production to the morning and afternoon hours when need is greater. Also, less problems with snow in winter.

When sellers of risk mislead parents freely, calling it "consumer choice" protects a business model, not families. [3/3]

The question I wished that she had asked about protecting children from the severe consequences of poor choices is, “When should government intervene when for-profit sellers or risk overstate benefits and downplay risks, deceiving parents into poor choices?” [2/3]

Opinion | The raw milk movement is dumb and dangerous, but don’t overreact Drinking unpasteurized milk is risky, but there are bigger public health battles to fight.

Lena Wen asks when government should intervene in people's poor choices. Having seen an E. coli infection, like those from raw milk, cause hemolytic uremic syndrome, leaving a child needing a kidney transplant, I know where I draw the line. [1/3]

Please, thank you, yes ma’am, no sir, hold the door for people, say excuse me, eat what you’re served, give a thank you wave when someone yields, tip 20%, go to the same spot to eat regularly, talk to your neighbors, cut the the kids some slack, it’s Sunday league not USL, say cheers, buy a round.

Interest in EVs surges in Europe as fuel prices jump after Iran war Demand at online marketplaces could settle at a new, higher normal, with the crisis leaving consumers ‘scarred’

The Strait of Hormuz crisis is doing something a decade of subsidies and mandates struggled to achieve:

making millions of people want an EV who previously discounted them.

12.7 million battery electric vehicles were sold globally in 2025.

In 2010, the number was barely 10,000.

In China, 1 in 2 new cars sold last year was electric.

The transition is happening faster than almost anyone predicted.
