Sadly yes. And we have our lunatic fringe up here too.

100% agree.
Great question.
Every new trade deal helps secure our sovereignty.
Carney has kicked Trumpβs ass in the deal making category.
Funny what respect, free trade and a mutual desire to move trade away from the US can do. www.bnnbloomberg.ca/business/com... #cdnpoli
I agree with you there. We need to bring back our industrial base that we gutted.
Good question. I sincerely hope you find an answer to that.
I actually agree with you. My point is Canada has to find our own path away from the US. We absolutely need to fight the right wing Poilievre crowd up here as well.
Mark Carney is a very smart man. Heβs prudently forging other world military and economic contingency plans for Canadian survival. Canada is proving to be a world leader. Itβs going to be tough, but there is no alternative.
I agree 100%
I believe Carney has us on the right track to disentangle from the U.S.βheβs the calm in the midst of chaos, a guiding light pointing the way forward. I trust this administration. Sure, there will be conflicts, but this group is accountable to Canadiansβthat matters.. π¨π¦
100% correct. π
The world continues to watch the subservience of educated Americans to a dictator and they find it revolting. And this is why the world wonβt forgive Americans for voting in Trump.
The fact that 37% of Americans would vote for Trump again, even after everything heβs done to date, is precisely the reason that Canada must turn away from the US. Our survival depends on it. π¨π¦π¨π¦π¨π¦π¨π¦
I would as well. π
One of the most notable figures today who does *not* fall for #gaslighting or the 4 pillars of abuse culture (humiliation, fear, favouritism, retaliation) is Prime Minister Mark Carney We are lucky in #Canada to have clearsighted #leadership
π― And Jivani as well.
Bridges are run by their military?
Civilians donβt use electricity?
Give your head a shake.

I feel we should be able to expect the national broadcaster to give an address from the PM more than this throwaway link in a piece that quickly reverts to discussion of Lutnick.
Canada needs to do this as well.

Itβs especially silly when he and PP whine that Canadians chose a minority government last election, when in fact we do no such thing.
For sure. It doesnβt matter what the Americans say, pissing off Canada is going to hurt their economy long term.
PSA to the US... #FAFO.

Lutnick & co. are gonna flip when PM Carney soon makes some eye opening decisions. Iβm thinking Gripen jets etc. Buckle up. π¨π¦πͺ
Peace on a Friday. War on a Sunday. Stocks go up, stocks go down. *yawn*.
He doesnβt take no for an answer π
I heard one of his ads on radio this morning. I guess he figures heβll need 3.5 years of propaganda to change our minds about how shitty he is.

My theory is that each day this guy remains as president is equal to one decade that the world wonβt trust the US again.
Sure Karen. Canada has moved on.
