Milled, shaped, butted, printed, and welded with every detail and function in mind. Flaanimal Titanium is titanium that stands apart.

Fancy a brew?
Our first TD4.2 Pueblo is out in the wild. Off to Kansas it went!
Flaanimal is 10 years old, and to celebrate, we created a single Ready To Roll homage to the original 1.0 paint design.

When special requests are made, we’re super excited to oblige. Chris asked for a dream spec set of our 3.0X rims to be laced with @berdspokes Polylight spokes to a @sonnabendynamo dynamo front hub and a @chriskingbuzz rear.
SpongeDonkey!

Riding up the tallest paved road in America is both arbitrary and not arbitrary at all. Hailey Moore explored both the physical act of riding up Mt Blue Sky, and the mental meditation that goes along with it in her first contribution to the Rodeo Journal. www.rodeo-labs.com/riding-mt-bl...
Spork lost an eye. But he did it doing what he loved. @rodeolabs.bsky.social #spork3
Spork perfection? Maybe. Rack perfection? Definitely.
Come ride bikes with us in the Dolomites! August 27-Sept 1, 2025:

Hot out of the oven: Flaanimal 3.0 > 3.4 refresh and update for Jace. We took this frame back down to bare metal, and paired it with a Spork Series 3 to update its capabilities over the Spork 1.0. The color marched fenders don’t hurt!

Would be a good and interesting idea to present a community gathering place to people who buy things through out web store. “Check out our slack, or check out the Reddit or Discord”. Could help people connect. Also want to revisit the member map.
The Slack was very active in the early years but dwindled over time as the original Rodeo team members and later bike owners dropped off one by one. It hasn’t been emphasized or announced to new people in years. There is an organically formed Reddit which is humming along, and is still relevant.
51 hours of riding with no sleeps.

We went Full Cactus on this Arizona Themed TD4 refresh for Logan. It’s inspired by the desert that he calls home.
Travis sent us a photo of his All City Super Professional with our new Spork 3.3 non-tapered steer tube model. It matches the tube profiles of this classically styled steel frame so nicely, and he took 2lbs off the bike vs original form! We love to see the bikes our forks are going on!

Such a nice deep blue! 🫶🏻
2/2 What then, are the new gathering places, both online and off, where communities grow and interact? We’re thinking a lot about that these days. We’ve always been and will continue to be a brand that wants to interact directly with our community, not rely on ads or media to tell our story.
1/2: Rodeo stated in 2014 with a simple post to Instagram. In the last 11 years we’ve absolutely loved telling our story and interacting with our community there. It seems though, that the dynamics on that platform are shifting in profound ways. It seems to be losing, not gaining steam.
Always working on the next iteration. We’ve been at it since 2018 with our shorts, and we’re still looking for improvement.

Process: TD4 in the spray booth

Details matter
Behind the scenes on paint: Masking is underway on a refresh of our friend Logan’s TD4. Among the first TD4s made, and certainly one of the most high mileage. Logan wanted to represent his home of Arizona, and this one is going to be amazing! Delicate line work is the first layer.

Eventually we’ll do an in depth review of suspension forks on our bikes (and gravel bikes in general). We’ve had great experiences with the Fox fork at Tour Divide and Leadville, and now this Cane Creek Invert is moving between bikes, terrain, wheel sizes, and roles. Spoiler: it’s way fun on this!
The last 54cm 5.0 Ti. On to 6.0 now!
Matte orange over matte blasted Ti, because matte. This is the LAST 54cm FL5. Ti that we had left in stock and it is off to Oregon, being built by its new owner John.
“uGH” option makes sure it’s compatible with whatever drivetrain he likes.
