Our libraries are spaces for community. They are places to gather, interact, learn and to play. The improvements to the Pemberton Library are a strategic investment in this community. Working together we created an improved space to better serve residents. www.co.burlington.nj.us/m/newsflash/...

I’m so grateful for the endorsement of the Burlington County Democratic Committee. I look forward to running alongside Commissioner Randy Brolo and Surrogate Brian Carlin to fight for residents and continue to make Burlington County a more affordable place to live.

This feels like a good time to remind everyone that with your Burlington County library card you can use Libby to download ebooks and audiobooks, and steam movies on Kanopy. Be safe everyone! bcls.lib.nj.us
I had the chance to speak with new HSP recruits earlier this week, bright and mission-driven future officers who will make a difference for those we serve. It was another inspiring reminder of what the best of law enforcement can and should be.
I am incredibly proud of the men and women of the NJ Human Services Police today and every day. Their dedication, professionalism, and compassion set them apart.
NJ Department of Human Services Commissioner Sarah Adelman released the following statement on New Jersey issuing fully funded November Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (#SNAP) benefits this morning:
Commissioner Sarah Adelman stopped by a distribution Fulfill held at an elementary school in Long Branch today. Families who rely on SNAP and school meals are facing a double-whammy with school closures this week.

NJDHS Cmr Sarah Adelman joined Mercer Street Friends & Mercer County, New Jersey for a distribution of fresh & shelf-stable food in Cadwalader Park in Trenton this afternoon. More than 125 #SNAP households were served in the first 5 minutes.
🙏Many thanks to all of our partners who are stepping up.

SNAP food assistance will not go out on November 1. This is who will be impacted. Visit njsnap.gov to stay updated.
SNAP supports not just New Jersey families, but businesses and the economy. Take a look at how the Trump Administration's failure to provide November SNAP benefits will impact New Jersey.

Burlington County Library System's Fine-Free Return Policy is Working, Says Officials www.tapinto.net/towns/mount-...
Without the penalty of overdue fines, Burlington County libraries see a sharp increase in usage, cards issued. www.70and73.com/evesham_marl...
Check out these numbers:
- 36% increase in checkouts
- 19% increase in digital checkouts
- 15,334 new library cards were created
- 1,600 new users of Libby/Overdrive, the BCLS’s digital catalog of online programs, collections and services
- 57% reduction in the list of lost items
We believed late fees and fines created a barrier preventing families from utilizing BCLS, so it’s gratifying to see cardholders who were inactive for years are returning to discover all the programs, services, and resources the library offers.

SNAP benefits help hundreds of thousands of New Jersey families put food on the table.
The Republican spending bill – championed by my opponent @Jack4NJ – guts funding for this essential program.
If you haven’t questioned who @Jack4NJ is fighting for, now’s the time to start.
Appreciated the chance to speak with @njspotlightnews.org about the devastating cuts to Medicaid.
Kicking 350,000 off NJ FamilyCare isn’t eliminating fraud, waste and abuse - it’s funding tax cuts for the wealthy on the backs of NJ families.
