By planting native wildflowers, supporting organic/regenerative farms, donating to conservation groups like Rainforest Alliance or Bumblebee Conservation Trust, even purchasing a small plot of derelict land and allowing nature to return to it
Biodiversity often gets left behind in these kinds of discussions, but it’s of equal importance to climate change. Without biodiversity, ecosystems fail. And thankfully, biodiversity is something we can all help protect in our own small ways
And saving even one species or one acre or one tree is so incredibly meaningful. It’s not all or nothing and each of us can make our own change.

Also, social media is a huge source of overwhelm for me. I find I can think more clearly when I leave my phone in a box. There’s still a lot of beauty out there, despite what is happening. Nature is resilient.
