I don’t “network,” I make friends. Other artists are not my competition, they’re my beloved peers and sources of inspiration. We all have the same goal; to share our art. I’m not gonna corporatize my human relationships with them. I am in my sandbox playing and I hope they join me.
Even if it does suck, the important thing is that it got the chance to let people decide it sucks instead of getting tossed in the garbage for a pittance on a billionaire's tax returns.

Seeing members of your family get stuck, and sometimes double down, can be hard. But I've seen enough growth and had enough surprises in my life that im never without hope that cycles will be broken. Maybe not in the way I wish, but still in a way that moves forward. Im lucky that way.
Tomorrow is a big family gathering, which i am grateful for that my stepmother is planning. It means a lot that they can come together so I can see everyone.
