i was trying to shiny hunt for a pikachu in X last night while hanging out with @meeplepet.bsky.social but i had no luck, LOTS of pikachu encounters, but no shinys

my first shiny in violet was a random encounter hawlucha while playing with my husband, full odds! most of my shinys were stubbornly caught with full odd cause i didnt have the shiny charm XD i got it a little while back, and now im sure ive ran past many shinys cause of it, whoops!

shiny hunting in pokemon is one of my favorite things to do! i have LOTS of shinys in violet, an i havent started za yet (ive been watching a friend play) but im so so excited to shiny hunt in that one ❤️💛
