Entering that era of the charts which can be loosely described as, "Andrew Lloyd Webber and the KLF have a shitposting competition".

When you get to Friday and it's like, "fuck it, I could really greeble a cube right now".
Looking at Bluesky like, "OK guys, what did you vibe code?"
63 when he did Harold Bishop's Dishonourable Doorstep Challenge on Banzai though, which is the important role there.
Vin Gazole.
The second half of the clock is too powerful for this world. The theme changes to the Bevis Frond version. Forbidden letters begin spewing from the letter holes. The maths problem require calculus. It was tried once and a vow was taken never to do this again.
Ah yes, the man who can be in the middle of a busy pub conversation and pause to go, "oh, the version with the 'heavenly wine and roses' bridge".
You're going the wrong way! It's supposed to be DOWN the hill!
The shopping centre I worked in somehow had "Stop The Cavalry" inserted 3-4 times in their 120 minute Christmas music loop, one of which was louder than all the other records for some reason.
Still sets my teeth on edge when it comes on, even 25 years later.
I read that and thought, in this world of very quick EVs, "so about as much thrust as... a car?"
But yeah, joy of space is less thrust just means more time. My KSP-playing soul would love to know the actual Δv numbers, though!
I'd love to do some guest stuff once I'm back to getting things done on a more regular schedule - need to think about what kind of formal I could make work! (Or not work, as is my style)
Ruined the traditional April pastime of throwing EGGS at Mr T's VAN as he drives to the TIP.
Monday's Cannelloni Reheated In The Microwave.
Shit. You couldn't make a more HMHB-coded phrase if you tried.
I need a proper failure of a video, a good old-fashioned "fewer viewers are choosing to watch this" situation, because otherwise I'm getting dangerously close to believing I might be in some way qualified to give advice on building a very small YouTube channel.
"I think this is great and not an unspeakable atrocity that should only be used as a cosh"
¿por qué no los dos?
The whole thing's a scam. We've never saved any daylight at all. Every year it's the same thing, you get round to winter and find we've almost completely run out again.
How is your day and does it involve trying to get CD-ROM and UK keyboard layout support working in DOS on a 1990s laptop?
That problem where your off-clock retro programming interferes with your on-clock actual day job and you're sitting there looking at some flags thinking, "yeah, so I can pack those into a single char and mask out the bits I need and..."
No Matt! This is not how it works any more!
If the limit of your allyship is your trans friends asking, "please don't watch that, it directly funds legal action to erase people from me from society" then you ought to be wondering if that concept means any more to you than just another profile badge.
It's usually the non-obstructiveness of assembler that gets me, as I watch my code jump to the interrupt vector table and start executing it as if the pointers are instructions...
Given Channel Guidelines is also being rolled out more widely and the state of... well (gestures vaguely around), I'm wondering how far off "AI will now review all comments against your published channel guidelines" is.
It's odd that after years of more or less leaving it up to creators to control (or not) our own comments sections, YouTube are coming in with heavy-handed tools and the default view now hiding most comments. It feels weirdly janky and rushed, too (e.g. I now get push notifications for held comments)
The YouTube Studio comments settings. Comments On/Off and Moderation have been there for ages, but there's a new option to choose whether to restrict comments to subscribers and/or members.
Opened YouTube Studio and this is new (to me, at least). You can now restrict who can comment, including optionally how long they have to be subscribed (1 hour/1 day/1 week).
Not sure I'd want to enable it but YouTube are definitely playing with the comment settings of late.
It's only recently that I finally sat down and forced myself to learn enough GIMP that I don't keep firing up Deluxe Paint II Enhanced in an emulator whenever I need to do some pixel work!
I've been more on the "create" side but I did find some time to have a couple of quick races in Grand Prix 2 at the weekend.
Look, I have a corner of a Discord! Other, better retro software videosmiths have their own corners of said Discord which do not have channels called things like "#aaaaaaaaa" and "#triangular-objects". I suggest joining so you can chat to them instead.

In the traditional Police Box pattern of an unconvincing body double of William Hartnell, I hope. Wouldn't want to be unpatriotic.
What do you mean you don't recall the period 1981-1986 where we collectively agreed to call Easter the festival of Police Box?
Make sure you check the space station bays for the "Coming soon: Chris Sawyer's Transport Game" advert!
I thought I'd clear the air after a couple of tycoon game videos that were too successful for me by covering retro programming again, because that should be niche right, and TASK FAILED.
