I enjoyed Bob Odenkirk's latest Derek-Kolstad-scripted action joint NORMAL, directed by Ben Wheatley. Odenkirk plays the interim sheriff in a small Minnesota town who's unable to ignore some serious shit going down.
I was worried when I first read that, but it seems okay in the trailers, and BUMBLEBEE and KUBO make me trust Travis Knight.
I think I had a realization though... this might be the Gen-X version of that era when the studios were greenlighting movies about Dick Tracy, The Shadow, The Phantom, etc., apparently not realizing they were kinda past their sell-by date. But I love those movies, so I support it.
Me listening to the boys wonder who the hell the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE movie is even for and remembering that I was on the show once and the main topic was how much I wanted a MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE movie
No, I havent.
Oh shit! I really liked his Black Panther comics too.

If you wanna ascribe ai a personhood its that of a demon spirit, it can pretend to be human but it is not and you can never understand it and it will say and do things harmful to you that are perfectly normal to it cause it is an alien entity pretending at humanity to lure you in

I'm enjoying following this thread and having my wife sing the ones I don't know until I recognize them.
How cool would it have been in NO WAY HOME if a THIRD portal opened and MACY GRAY walked out, singing???
There should be a legacy sequel to PUMP UP THE VOLUME where teens learn the story of Hard Harry, track him down living off the grid in the mountains, slowly convince him that his voice is needed and he emerges to conquer the podcast game. But immediately says something horrible and gets cancelled.
Sorry, I mean flute, not violin.
He does a cover of "Maggot Brain," replaying Eddie Hazel's entire solo on trumpet, with I think vibraphone for the rhythm guitar part, then some violin and bassoon or something comes in at the end, sounds like a classical piece. And it's not even my favorite song on the album!
I really like the Flea record.
FURIOSA is a certified Cable Classicβ’ because it's playing on TNT again and it's got me hooked and changing my screen name and shit.
Ten years without Prince. Except I've listened to so much Prince in those ten years.
Which other ones are you thinking of?
I feel I've earned this because I was in the presumably minuscule group of people who had been waiting for THE RAID because of MERANTAU before it premiered and months of hype ensued.
Looks like I'm going to see THE FURIOUS a little early (it's playing SIFF in May)!

A digital illustration of Godzilla silhouetted against a red and orange fire-colored background with his back spines all glowing blue as he blasts nuclear fire at whomever you would most like to have nuclear fire blasted at. Go ahead and make a wish. Jagged lettering on Godzillaβs back and shoulder, also glowing blue, reads βMaybe it will happen todayβ

It took me about 5 years but I finally reviewed the great South Korean space adventure SPACE SWEEPERS. Highly recommended if you have Netflix.
I decided it was time to find out if Karyn Kusama's ΓON FLUX plays any better now than it did in 2005.
Itβs profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that thatβs what Daredevil is for
