Last month in The Onion:
Oh so we're to THIS part of the bubble cycle.
Also that's famously not even a real Bible verse.
The East Bay contingent was holding down the fort in person! Thank you to everyone who attended and supported us. If you missed it, there were technical difficulties but half of it is on YouTube now and (nearly) the whole thing will be available this evening.
19 minutes to go until the @edsourceguild.bsky.social rally! In person across the street from the Fox Theater in Oakland or at this YouTube link! Also on Twitch but you can’t schedule a single stream on there unless you’re an affiliate for some reason!
Noon today! Rally for @edsourceguild.bsky.social! Signing up for the Zoom is preferred but you people are generally pretty lazy so it'll also be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Instagram Live. Links are all in the Linktree thingy.
imagine joining a religion and then five years later criticizing the leader of that religion, who has dedicated his whole life to that religion, and who that religion says is infallible, about said religion
If you don’t believe we are in a bubble you are in denial
Our new album is out today! A sincere request to help spread the word!

You know, I hear that less and less every year and I *almost* miss it.
When whoever wins gets recalled after six weeks over a scandal someone would have caught if we still had local media how about we rock-paper-scissors for which of us has to be Governor next.
How did we have a better slate of candidates in the historically absurd recall election than we do now? Why doesn't anyone want to be Governor of California?
A flamboyant-haired chicken with feathers colored kinda like a French manicure.
I'm pretty sure this chicken is gay.

* Thanks to California's campaign finance reporting rules you only have to report donations of $1,000 or more in realtime. The next filing that includes small donors is due in a couple weeks.
So I just ran the numbers and, as of end of day March 31, not counting donations under $1,000 in 2026*, the 20 non-Steyer candidates for California Governor who electronically filed forms raised a total of $43,555,998.38 including non-monetary and loans. Steyer gave $101,063,269.14 to himself.
principla skinner thinking "am i out of touch? no it's the pope who is wrong"
"talk about current pop culture events like Wuthering Heights, a movie that came out in February; the latest Taylor Swift album, which came out in October of last year; Heated Rivalry, which came out in November of last year; and Anthony Bourdain, who is dead."
I’d be more inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt if her alternate story wasn’t so hilariously improbable and ill-conceived. At least try to make sense, you know?
