So yeah. More shelving had to be added.

Vinyl and record player finally all set up. Slowly settling in. ๐
Moving house completely screwed my reading rhythm. I didn't finish a single book in March. I need to remedy that in April.
Book police can get in the bin. I don't understand shitting on someone else's enjoyment.
The move finally happened! Obviously unpacking the books was a priority, so I treated myself to some new bookshelves but I underestimated the volume of books I have as I've pretty much filled them and I still have more boxes to unpack. Oops.

And let the death by tree pollen commence.
Only 23?? Try the judgement of 3 times that number.
There's always a silver lining.
Gonna be honest from the post I saw I couldn't tell if it was his choice or theirs. Either way didn't come across as mutual.
Me after reading Dark Age by Pierce Brown.
I also had a glorious night last night seeing Deftones. My heart is full. ๐ฅฐ
Impaired vision finally caught up with me. I feel this sures up my book nerd credentials though.
Excellent 1st choice. I think mine was Dracula, sadly I have no idea what happened to that copy. I've since replaced it with another copy.
It may be small but it contains Red Rising so it's off to a great start.
Today's charity shop book haul.
I now really need to curb my book buying until my TBR diminishes somewhat.

Took this the other morning before all the rain hit. Sometimes being up at the crack of dawn is worth it.
A bit of car reading before work because I got here early and I refuse to spend more time in that building than I have to. Any excuse to spend more time with a book really.

I figured the Christmas period would be a good time as I had some time off work. I always take a book to work so I can read on my lunch break. It's such a hefty book I figured the more I could read whilst I'm off the less I'd have to lug it to work. ๐
I really enjoyed The Vampire Lestat so looking forward to finally getting my teeth stuck into this in the new year.
I started Alchemised on Christmas day and I'll be reading that to ring in the new year because she be chonky and I was never gonna finish it before the year was out.
Mad when just over 200 pages is barely scratching the surface. ๐
Funnily enough i grew up in Reading. Moved away 11 years ago. I would sometimes see a small murmuration over the Whitley Wood recreation ground on my way home from work.
Every year around this time I head to Avalon Marshes to see the Starlings do their thing. The 1st year I went I was blessed to have it happen right in front and over me. This year they were further off in the marshes but it's still worth it.
A little time off over the festive period so I'm going in. #booksky๐๐ #alchemised
I love it when a book I just picked at random in a charity shop becomes one of the best books I've read this year. Completely taken me by surprise.

Books, books and more books.
