This really matters - again I talked to a friend about this (we are in the UK) and she wasn’t aware. Even though the UK media are reporting this single case - they just don’t appear to be reporting on the ramifications.

Trump always takes the laziest path. He signs Executive Orders he barely understands, or - instead of evaluating which countries have trade imbalances with the US -he’ll just hit them all with a tariff. This is why he pardoned all the Jan 6 prisoners - it was a ludicrous action, but easy for him.
