Wow, love discovering these small GitHub gems. Is there a repository or source that covers all the cool little tricks GitHub offers? 👀

Google Search Console can be such a mess. Had a problem that it couldn’t reach/find a sitemap for ages with all kinds of strange error messages, while Bing Webmaster and every other tool did have no problem with it at all
Stoked for what's to come 👀 Especially with the care put into it
@sifa.id are job postings / web-scraped job postings on the roadmap, or is this out of scope for SIFA? 👀
AI banners tend to be more decorative than adding value to the content piece itself. Big fan of the chapter illustrations in "The Mythical Man-Month" (e.g. archive.org/details/Myth...). They aren't just decorative but either help you understand the idea or make you think about it differently.
How neat is that?!
Added a @standard.site GH action, and now content from my personal site is being distributed onto the Atmosphere by default. 🤯
Yes exactly
Wish there was an annotation/edit feature in Bluesky for such cases ugh
CAS: stores every package once, by content hash
VS: assembles those files into a directory structure Node.js can traverse (wiring e.g. vite to its deps at the right versions)
GVS: deduplicates that dep-graph, and shares the assembled structure across projects which uses that exact dep-graph
Oh yes, I was. Thought the Global Virtual Store (GVS) is the same as the Content Addressable Store … just now figured out what the GVS actually is about.
TIL my understanding of pnpm is greatly skewed — thought the global virtual store was default behavior since ~ v7 🫣
Releasing packy v2
Creating bundles for air-gapped deployments just got a bit fancier.

oxide.md has got to be one of the best extensions one can get for @zed.dev
Wikilinks completion, callout completions, footnote completion...
Turns Zed (for me) into a real Obsidian alternative.
Feels like magic, what you're cooking there -- the comparison doesn't lie!
✨ Working on a refactor of packy.js.org (in-browser npm pkg bundling for airgapped deployments).
Adding some necessary QoL improvements that are way overdue.
> Just two commands
Theoretically, it could also just be reduced to
`brew install jano-editor/jano/jano` with modern Homebrew versions. It then auto-taps the repository and installs the formula
oh lovely — will try it out asap
Winget/homebrew support planned as well? 👀
Experimenting with an external @sifa.id to CV export tool powered by Vite, NuxtUI, WebContainers and jsonresume.org. Crazy what the web can do nowadays compared to e.g. in 2016 🤯
No API key costs, no vendor packages, no new API to learn. 😍
Claude got even more creative:
patakdolph.in (dolphin)
patakrob.in (robin)
patakpengu.in (penguin)
patakr.at (rat)
patakwomb.at (wombat)
patakwalr.us (walrus)
patakoctop.us (octopus)
patakhippopotam.us (hippopotamus)
pataksqu.id (squid)
patakkanga.ro (kangaroo)
There’s still some room for more 🤣
bsky.app/profile/did:...
There’s definitely some growth-potential left:
icannwiki.org/.fish
icannwiki.org/.cricket
Or more generic:
icannwiki.org/.pet
icannwiki.org/.pets
icannwiki.org/.vet
And eventually to group everything together:
icannwiki.org/.farm
This will eventually become a fully-fledged zoo. 🤣
Nuxt UI is awesome! 👏 Excited to see a new release.
It’s the cherry on top of the whole Nuxt DX that convinced me to go all in on the Nuxt ecosystem for some of my projects.
