Read the short story “Love in a Fallen City” by Eileen Chang yesterday. A true beauty and a very touching story. Looking forward to reading more of her works!

TIL that the OpenDyslexia font is in-built in the kindle app. This might be a game changer for me.

Been hearing all of you talk about Anatomy of a Fall since Cannes and I finally get to watch it tonight!

I just finished reading The Catcher in the Rye for the first time and I loved it.

I especially love this copy because according to my mom, a friend of theirs left this copy for me and my brother. He passed away 7 years ago and I’ve never felt this close to him :)

Great idea! I put down all my ideas in this one google keep file but right now I have so much more than just a vague concept.

Need to focus on some non-screenwriting work these days and I’m coming up with the best screenplay ideas.

Do any of you other writers struggle to journal for the heck of it because you need everything you write to be perfect?

Hi #scriptsky friends!

Scriptwriting Mixer!

Let’s mix it up this Friday night. It’ll be just like the ole days, minus the Elon-Twitter ick factor.

How bout we meet up here around 10 PM ET to catch up?

Bonus points for bringing a pic of your pet. 😁

I just came across this and it looks like the Oppenheimer screenplay is written in the first person.

I personally love it and think it’s perfect for the story.

What do you think of it?

I’m rewatching Malcolm in the Middle and the cold opens are pure genius.

For those who've migrated from Twitter's #screenwriting #film and #TV community and are trying to find one another on here: here's my little thread on who to follow. This also goes for those who are new here and want to get into these creative mediums. Please share.

Introduce yourself!

One book.
One video game.
One movie.
One album.

Amazing. Whenever I hung out at my mom’s friend’s place, I was banned from using the exercise cycle. She told me I can use it now lol but I really don’t care anymore 😂

Like you said, I love a character intro that gives us a peak into their psyche but more so when we get a hint of what they desire.

I just dreamt the setup of a whodunnit but woke up before I could know who the killer was. I might have to write this now to solve the mystery.
