I'm fortunate enough to have grown up with it, since the days when it was unknown outside of Sheffield!
I'm somewhat surprised but nonetheless delighted to see that people are still discovering the tongue-tingling liquid heaven that is Hendo's. Splash it on!

OK - I've never come across an instance such as that here in the UK, though I can't say it's never happened or never will. TBH, I'm not sure which side I would come down on, all things considered. I certainly think that less use of phones by kids is probably a good thing overall.
Surely the teachers and activity supervisors will continue to have phones so that parents can be contacted should an emergency arise?
Sheffield, this evening (you can also be among the first to pick up advance copies of Fay Musselwhite's new collection, which will be on early sale at the event)
As the Mandelson scandal rumbles on, Iβve been trying to recall (if I ever knew) who proposed him for the role of US Ambassador, or did he simply submit an application form? I mean, how did he get to the point of even being considered for the job? Anyone know?

What we had to go through was essential, yes. Many more people would have died otherwise. I just find it hard to remember what the experience was really like now.
We shall be there in July - very much looking forward to it! π
Itβs been approximately 740,000 days since jesus died. This means that if Elon Musk gave away 1 billion dollars for every day that has passed since then, it still might not be enough to save him from the guillotine.

Ah yes. Iβve read a few of her Shetland novels featuring Jimmy Perez. Very good author. The TV series based on the novels was very good too π

A memory of lockdown, six years ago today. Identical weather, too! The hand-written sign outside the pub is advertising takeaways and deliveries of meals. I find it increasingly difficult to recall just how weird that period of time was.

Weβre on the brink of an ev revolution, but the naysayers have done everything they can to prevent it. Perhaps itβs now unstoppable.
Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
