I almost exclusively use these A5 cardboard mailers. They can cope with a fair amount of zines in one go or I can fold them in such a way as to keep a single item snug. I wrap my items in tissue paper before packing them in.

Typically each 'turn' is you playing a single card, resolving it and then refilling your hand ready for the next hand.
