This whole thread has been a long running issue with my store as well. Months that are slow like this drag everything to a crawl, and I sit on my porch waiting for a “someday”. But, I wouldn’t trade my community for the world.

This has to be an opportunity for growth. Equality, equity, real and lasting changes that work for US, not for those bought and paid for.

We need ALL our elected held accountable. We need something new, something better. We can’t just protest, we need to DEMAND change - End)

We can’t just go back to status quo. Trump, Elon, RFK, they’ve dismantled what little systems of support we, the working class, actually have. We can’t rely on democrats to make fix these systems, because they’ll try to “work with republicans”, giving concessions every step of the way 3)

Unable to afford rent, getting deported, police did the same thing they’re doing now. None of these things are new, Trump was just the spark that lit up all the darkness surrounding politics in America. These issues are systemic, deep rooted, and we’ve seen this all before 2)

When you go to these protests, one of the things I want you to ask yourself and those around you:
Are you showing up for real change? Or are you showing up to fight for status quo?

We can’t just go back to the way things were. We still couldn’t afford food, rent was still rising, people still 1)

The general reaction seems to be “this is it? This is everyone?” Yeah, my comrade, without YOU we’re down a person and need to work FOR you instead of WITH you. I understand that the country inherently isolates us, but wouldn’t a community of loving folks working together be enough? 2)

I think the hardest part of any leftist work is convincing people that THEY need to do the work necessary to make change in the world. Folks already here know this, but when you see new members checking out DSA or PSL or ACP, they almost always have this issue where 1)
