I call it cultural arachnophobia because I firmly believe it is, in large part, taught. "Icky bugs" in general. Ever see kids with bugs? Kids love bugs. They're so often *taught* to find them icky and gross and scary.

出典が判明できてないのでrtしないけど、ジャケット写真のエンマハンミョウがカブトムシと見間違われてるのちょっと面白い。

でもこれは潜在的に光楯類に関係あるもの限定なので違うか…。

いや、もうあったかもしれない…「Aglaspidid-like arthropod」とやら。

Bivalved arthropodのように、artiopodや基盤鋏角類にありがちな「ドーム型背甲+肋部発達同型胴節」という形態にも総称があっていいと時々思う。
背面しか知られていないと分類が詰むという点も似てる。

大半のハラフシは潜在的なoffacolidではないかと薄っすら思う。
