Totally agreed. On balance it’s probably worth doing. You’ll never stop the determined kids, but just increasing the friction is enough to push lots away.

Just from a technical perspective, I assume it would be forcing companies to update their T&Cs, to bump the minimum age to 16.

Then those companies would either disable those accounts until the kid in question is 16, or delete them altogether.

But kids will still lie to sign up. 🤷
