Our chairs went on strike!!!! ❌
Today our chairs stacked themselves up and went on strike, we had to write a persuasive letter to them to convince them to come back🙏

Outdoor learning today we made bird seed bombs to plant 🪴 we really enjoyed getting muddy and working together to create them! Super impressed with everyone’s efforts 👏🏻

We have really enjoyed learning “Timioche” (Tiddler in French) 🇫🇷 and had lots of fun watching ourselves and others this afternoon perform their wonderful work 🤩👏🏻 Bravo all

Lots of hard work from P3, P3/4 and P4 pupils during our trip around Europe topic! We’ve been mixing classes and visiting @lauriestonp4-3.bsky.social and @lauriestonp4.bsky.social to learn about different countries in Europe! In the p3 classroom we visited Iceland 🇮🇸

We looked at words that have the same sounds but are written differently, discussing rhyming words and what it actually means 📝

Hockey outside this week for PE🏑

Lots of control, patience and skill when working on our hockey skills 🏑

Outdoor learning last week we made our own shops to sell the natural resources and use our imagination for money 💰

We have been working on our data handling skills by creating tally charts to populate bar graphs 📊

We used pupil voice and padlet to talk about what we want to learn about in our new topic! 🌎

This afternoon we explored coding using micro:bits! We loved learning to use them and managed to create the flashing heart ❤️

Today we budgeted for a pizza night. Using our money knowledge we worked in pairs to plan a pizza night while sticking to a budget of £10! 🍕 💰

Child led learning this morning! We worked on different literacy tasks based on punctuation and recapped our money knowledge! We uploaded our work onto padlet to share and chat about afterwards 👏🏻

Creating line drawings for our Egyptians topic 😊

Fantastic team work this afternoon to create mummies as part of our Egyptian topic! Everyone worked so well and our “pharaohs” were fantastic sports ⭐️ we discovered that wrapping mummies would not have been an easy job 👎🏻

Today we looked at the steps to mummification!!! We spoke through the steps, ordered them in pairs and then created our own class mummies💀

Continuing to look at forces today, we explored how different chemicals mix or don’t mix and cause the pulling of carbon dioxide to create bubbles! We are amazed by this experiment 🧪 🧫
