In my new film THE MINION CANNOT HEAR THE FALCONER, we'll explore the way in which the emergence of 20th century ideologies fractured the once-cohesively evil Minion society into competing fascist and communist blocs that soon come to blows over which form of totalitarianism will shape their future.

The conservative intelligentsia is just wildly, cartoonistly racist, and the fact that this gets less elite pushback from the prestige media/commentariat than "woke" does is such a damning indictment of our whole society.

The permanent Republican majority Karl Rove boasted of during the Bush Presidency is finally here.

My first big poetry publication came out today!! Check it out! Poems about racism and Barack Obama and musical theater, aka the stuff I talk about on here all time! And read the whole issue, it is full of amazing stuff.

Was FDR's unwellness obviousl to the general public though? Before television it was probably much easier to hide these things from the public, and I know he had already been successfully concealing his paralysis for years.

Didn't the gerrymandered maps get struck down by a court between the 2017 and 2019 elections? If they hadn't Republicans probably woukd have held on to their legislative majorities.

Surprised me since I thought that account made those jokes itself as well. Completely justified though, those jokes got stale after the first trillion of them.

Ok, I think I've figured it out. We build a dam across the Straits of Hormuz, and drain the Persian Gulf. This denies Iran control of the strategic choke point, while pacifying their internal politics with massive territorial growth, and as an added benefit, destroys the economies of the GCC.

Maybe it will be different this November but midterm electorate don't seem particularly left leaning in the Trump era. Republicans had terrific base turnout in both 2018 and 2022 and Democrats had abysmal base turnout in 2022.

I've been wondering that. But the success Virginia GOP is apparently having by comparing that redistricting referendum to Jim Crow makes me suspect it could work. Especially since it might fit well with their current strategy of painting Dems as antisemitic because of their pro-Palestine faction.

I would argue Lupin was another instance. Also Sirius in some cases but not consistently.
