Mr Polanski said that this “won’t be the last – I know there are many more weighting up their decision.”

I’d like to warmly welcome Sean Morgan, former Labour council leader, to the Caerffili Greens.
Sean’s decision shows that true progressives recognise the Green Party as the future — the movement that puts people, communities, and the planet first.

Across Wales, more and more people are realising that Green politics is the real alternative to the old parties. Together, we can build a fairer, cleaner, and more hopeful future for Caerffili and beyond.

London MPs are shitting it. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/inside-green-party-surge-one-36210480

Great to hear London Labour MPs panicking about losing their seats to the Green Party.

For clarity, though - this goes way beyond just London.

Across England & Wales, we're saying lower bills, tax billionaires and we're ready to take on Reform.

The burning question I wanted to ask at PMQs today: why is the govt considering slashing funding to home insulation programmes as a short-term, short-sighted way to lower energy bills? Why not do the smart thing instead, and tax billionaires fairly?

5 months ago 149 52 2 3

I said yesterday that the chancellor was laying the ground for her budget as hard choices for everyone but the wealthiest.⁣

And now the chancellor is reportedly going to cut vital funding for desperately needed home insulation to cut bills.

Zohran Mamdani's victory is a win for mothers. Is the UK ready to follow? Childcare is an election-winning issue, writes Green Party MP Siân Berry for Glamour.

Zohran Mamdani focused on childcare costs to win the race for New York Mayor, and the UK needs to have the same conversation about how no-cost childcare could help more than just parents.

I'm going to have this link bookmarked for the foreseeable!

Extremely early days and I will keep monitoring - but the first day of the congestion charge shows a signicant drop in traffic on St Clements (in my division).

My hot take on this its great that the journalist acknowledges that the Green Party is at record membership, record polling and has huge momentum.

But why say "dentally challenged?"

Who or what is that serving?

The state of journalism.

Natalie holding sign "it's time for tax fairness on UK roads"

Pleased to join Transport and Environment in highlighting nonsensical escalation of the size & weight of vehicles on our roads.
They are calling for tax; I'd say we should ensure these vehicles are not standard on urban roads

Fair play to Plaid Cymru, David Chadwick (Lib Dem), Steve Witherdon and Gerald Jones (Labour) who voted against, but where’s the rest of Welsh Labour on this??

The 'for' votes are from Reform, Conservatives and some smaller parties.
The 'against' votes are from Green, Plaid, SNP, Independent, Lib Dem, some Labour and some smaller parties.

Farage's motion on leaving the European Convention on Human Rights failed: 154 votes to 96

All 4 @greenparty.org.uk MPs voted against it, because we believe international agreements on human rights are a good thing.

But only 63 out of 401 Labour MPs did:

Oh this is so cool! We actually have a Telraam near one of the congestion charge points - Oxford’s congestion charge started today and so we can see what happens to traffic in real time.

The government are reportedly planning on moving some asylum seekers from hotels to military bases...

How about, rather than shipping a few hundred people off to military sites, we let asylum seekers work and contribute to our society and fix our broken asylum system? 🤔
