It's funny that everyone who has *ever* programmed, knows how important attention to detail is. Hours wasted because you made a typo, forgot to add a character, etc.
The tiniest thing you literally don't notice is wrong, and your program screams at you and dies.
This is a universal experience.

Just some of my thoughts these days, I've been trying to share more from other people and to send out positive thoughts with my feed. But I don't want to commit to toxic positivity. The world is in a dark place. My trying to encourage people is strategic. It is survival when we lift each other up.
Fun fact: in the 1960s, Civil Rights protestors were given literal classes on nonviolent protest; they didn't all just spontaneously know what to do.

They're useful in specific, controlled circumstances.
But the way they're being pushed top-down by moneyed interests - who are extremely invested in maintaining the myth of 'AI' as a catch-all solution in order to maintain stock valuations - is a very real problem.
