Primary 2/1 have been learning about the Decider Skills and how they can help us regulate our emotions. We looked at “It will pass” today and compared our big feelings to waves, paintings pictures to represent this. The class chose these 3 as their favourites! ⭐️

Primary 2/1 have been finding halves of shapes and created these fantastic pictures from their cuttings! We then estimated half of objects near the burn but ended up making fishing rods and trying to catch fish! 🎣

Love seeing how creative our children are with our loose parts when they are playing outside. Excellent collaboration, discussions and problem solving today! ⭐️

Starting a new writing genre today in P7/6…….working together to identify the key features of Personal Writing.

This successful learner was investigating things that were equal and was very creative making equal mountains and windmills! ⭐️

Primary 2/1 have been learning to write information reports. To help structure our writing we have been sorting information into categories and subcategories.

Primary 2/1 enjoyed a walk at the burn yesterday, spotting signs of spring. We were delighted to see some ducks in the burn but sad to see so much litter near our school.

*NURSERY* Today we enjoyed a village walk in the sunshine. We spotted lots of beautiful flowers in gardens and had fun identifying them. We also heard toots from the steam train and the electric train on the track nearby. 🌷 🌹#Springwalk
