I've got an air purifier on high, which helps a lot but last night it was still quite bad. Hopefully, that was the worst of it. But it has made me rethink my emergency prep! Previously we've only had tiny pop-up brush fires, never threatening structures.

I've got a good supply of N95s, but not a P100. Theoretically I won't be super close to a fire, BUT we are red flag at least today and tomorrow and I am right next to a wilderness area, so I have some anxiety about that 😬

Yeah, Watch Duty for fire coverage also is not as good here. I guess we don't have the volunteers. It's also a state with a lot of rural areas, so likely more challenging. It looks clear now, but certainly wasn't last night; and the smell was super strong, even indoors.
