i must admit,,, i was one of the many fools who chastised those who use the sacred "air" of "fryer." please forgive me. i did not respect the efficiency with which one could make (air) fried chicken with skin that is kinda crumchy. or fremch fries in mere minutes with less grease than a fryer.

btw vanguard galaxy has the potential to become one of my favorite games ever, but for some reason they used AI art assets as part of their beta/EA stuff. and like, it's so ugly lol. iirc they said they were gonna replace it and hire artists (which is why i bought it) but sheesh does it stick out 🤧

stellaris is probably my all time favorite with approaching infinity in a close second. and then there's avorion, which i love and hate at the same time, but ultimately still love. im just now starting to get into elite dangerous and i dig it, but vanguard galaxy has been eating all my time lately

this might be my game of the year; i have yet to beat the final boss/impossible mode, but the music, setting, gameplay pulled me so hard i cant forget it. i literally wake up with a new song from the OST in my head everyday 😭 rip lil ditzy, the GOAT

Approaching Infinity [69hrs]
i absolutely love this game, it combines all of my favorite things: trad. roguelikes, space/sci-fi setttings, rpg/leveling mechanics, and a lot of world building. i have yet to do all victories, but i absolutely adore the time i spent w this game

Slay The Spire II [47hrs]
i absolutely loved StS1 and this game is just as cool. it's a little difficult rn and some characters/cards need some tuning, but overall it's pretty sick. Also, multiplayer is a TON of fun, you can have so many busted shenanigans

suprisingly fun rpg sandbox with "old school" d&d mechanics. learning the game's systems and just kinda experiencing the setting has been fun. wish there was more story, and qol/user exp. was a little rough. overall though it was enough to decide to keep playing it :)

also im gonna start listing off all the new games i've been playing/picked up:

learning that i have one of the *really* not fun mental health disorders has been really not fun to find out experience. im somewhat better now, but when i had an episode recently i was an absolute mess and completely inconsolable. esp bc it's really hard to confide in others bc of the disorder lol

bought even more videogames to fill the hole my psychiatric disorder as given me, recently

and now (starting from the beginning again) it took me 7 hrs on my first to do most content on extreme mode, and now i've done most of the goals on misery in 6 hrs. the sheer power of undiagnosed autism (raads-r says high likelyhood of autism) and adhd medication is insurmountable. i am a robot god

ive been plsying heart of the machine so much that i have shrunk the playtime per playthrough, like 66%. first timeline was like 20-30 hrs, 2nd was ended early at 7h, every run after that was around 10hrs with lots of achievements per timeline. then i got annoyed and started a new profile

i told her she could pick me up like a straw man, and then asked her out on a date. my charisma is unmatched
