Everything old is new again. This has been hidden away for months because he was bored with it. Tonight he found it fascinating. For how long? Who knows! But he had fun.

Poor baby! They universally hate going to the vet, that's for sure. Spencer doesn't howl, thank goodness, he just hides in the back of the carrier and stays quiet and still. Scared!

I’ve made baba ganoush a couple of times over the years. Didn’t like the first version, but I think a more recent effort was OK. I’ve never tasted the real thing. I look forward to you trying it and giving us your recipe.

It's great that you get to watch them while they are protected from predators. I looked for a restaurant like that here, and there really isn't one. There are a few that may have one or two dishes, but everything else is typical restaurant fare. I may try at some point anyway.

Hah. Mostly. Sometimes if he thinks I've slept late enough he'll do a quick 'fly-by' to bounce off my body and onto the windowsill, rattling the blinds. Today was one of those mornings. Otherwise, he's pretty good.

He knows when I am awake in the wee hours, even if I don't move or make a sound. Once he knows I'm awake he considers me fair game, but he leaves me alone until then (mostly!).

I was past using the camera, though yes, he senses it even if it's behind him. Smart little critters! I was probably doing something unrelated to him (breathing?) that made him get up and leave.😹

He abandoned me not long after I took that photo, moved over to his donut bed. I guess he'd had enough cuddle time. 😹

Yes, I liked the edible/medicinal uses too. But given the location of the ones at the ponds, I'd probably break a bone, or drown, trying to reach them. It's tempting, though, and I may keep my eyes open for some that are accessible.

That was fun! Love the new feeder, but totally get why you kept the old one. I could make a meal out of your appetizers at that restaurant, easily, but the flatbreads and then the pita and hummus and other spreads couldn't be ignored. My mouth is watering///1

Much too long! Got one PG first word, sitting at Amazing with 53 pts. left to G. Lots of good, long words, too. I may or may not reach G, depends on how I feel about it later. They seem generally to be much longer these days, or maybe that's just me.
