You can think of 3/4 as a waltz and 6/8 as a lilt.
Mathematically, you could transpose between them, of course, but “ONE and TWO and THREE and” feels different than “ONE two three FOUR five six”

It’s about how you feel it.
You feel 3/4 in three. You count 1-2-3 in each measure and that’s that.
You feel 6/8 in two. Each measure is divided into two, and then each of those half measures is divided into three. You count each measure in 2 sets of 3 — 1-2-3, 2-2-3; 1-2-3, 2-2-3.
Some Grok users, mostly men, began to demand to see bruising on the bodies of the women, and for blood to be added to the images. Requests to show women tied up and gagged were instantly granted.

Here’s a comment for the people who are upset that MN hasn’t charged Jonathan Ross already:
If you just Leeeroy Jenkins this shit you will lose and you will empower fascism and murder.
It is indescribably hard to prosecute cops for murder. It is even hard when the murder is ON VIDEO.

Just seen Grok putting the body of the victim of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis into a bikini. Digital corpse desecration now available to the public.
That he chooses the "me or your lying eyes?" approach, in the full knowledge that there are multiple videos out there, is a striking commentary on the nature of propaganda in the modern information environment.
I wrote section 230 to protect user speech, not a company's own speech. I've long said AI chatbot outputs are not protected by 230 and that it is not a close call. Given that the Trump administration is going to the mat to protect pedophiles, states should step in to hold Musk and X accountable.
As @colin-fraser.net is tirelessly pointing out, the current nightmare unfolding on X/Twitter is not fundamentally an AI issue, it's a product that's been designed to create nonconsenual sexual images, including of minors, that Elon Musk refuses to turn off. That's the issue.
One example of how Grok is being used to target women. Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch being sexualised, degraded, and humiliated step-by-step by Grok. All the images accurately reflect the prompts provided.
I think the AI angle of this is obscurant. It doesn’t matter that grok is “an AI” whatever you take that to mean. Suppose X hired a team of guys to photoshop the clothes off of women and children whenever anyone asks. That’s functionally identical what happening here. It’s not complicated.
My son put it best when he was a young kid: "Cats are great because you get happy every time you encounter them. You turn a corner, and there's a cat there, and it's like there's a cat, and that's great."
I always think about it whenever I turn a corner and encounter a cat.
A fun question for a WH correspondent to ask Trump would be to point out Venezuela on a map.
Try fb marketplace? I bet a lot of folks are upgrading their watches for new years’ resolutions and you might score something decent for like $50
Important to remember that the TikTok deal, which delivered the app into the hands of pro-Trump billionaires, was only made possible by President Biden and the Democrats.

Thank you to everyone who has shared this. The hearing is over for today. DHS has filed a motion to pretermit (end Guan's asylum application in the US) and have him sent to Uganda - where he'd be at risk of being sent to China. The hearing to decide that will be held 12 January.

In late 2020 a Chinese man called Guan Heng travelled to Xinjiang with our BuzzFeed map of detention facilities to provide ground truth for our work - he provided the first corroborating evidence for many sites.
He escaped to the US - then ICE detained him.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia speaks at the ICE Baltimore field office for a scheduled check-in. Abrego was released from custody after a federal judge ruled that the Trump administration lacked legal authority to continue holding him in an immigration detention center.

Here are the bylaws for Donald Trump Jr.’s Executive Branch club.
I don’t believe the full document has been reported before.
It was publicly available — the link was buried in the club website’s source code.
