Boy that sounds like a pretty antisemitic statement to me
200,000 wishlists and 480k demo downloads later, How Many Dudes will be launching on July 30th!
Our roguelike-strategy riff on the "how many men to defeat a gorilla?" meme surprised us, so here's a few surprises for you! π

Wow. I do morbidly listen to Freedom Forever's podcast, and I guess I believed their PR too hard, because this shocked me pv-magazine-usa.com/2026/04/15/r...
I dislike rhetorical questions like this.
Everyone knows damn well why this is not being done in the USA other than in California.
We're not taking climate action and aggressively transitioning away from fossil fuels because the American electorate chose to put Republicans into power in 2024.
The 'tell' that the old "let's spend money on alleviating poverty not climate change" argument is BS? The people who make that argument oppose international aid and money spent alleviating poverty.

And now my rainwater mitigation for the greenhouse has passed inspection!! It's not the prettiest and I def need to adjust some things, but importantly the permit is getting closed π₯³
A couple of them might be in the 10s now.
Yeahhhh this is where I'm leaning as the problem. I don't really know why tripping due to heat would cause more tripping, but maybe breaker's simply are less able to trip and recover from that than I give them credit for.
A screenshot showing an electric bill with a lower-than-usual amount for the previous month, and a negative amount for the current month so far.
Thaaaaaaat's the good stuff π #solar
Sometimes when breakers won't stop fucking tripping, you gotta just throw some plywood in front of it to see if that knocks down the heat enough in the box
I DONT WANNA BUY A CAR RIGHT NOW KEVIN πππ
*sighs, digs out EV vs gas car calculator again*
Those ARE the rules
feeling a lil adventurous, might unload and load the dishwasher
Should Democrats pay JD Vance to make ads for the candidates they're running against this fall?
I voted for Kamala, and I'd vote for her again, despite moving further left since the election. A lot of leftists voted for Kamala, despite their complaints about her and Biden.
But go off, I guess
I mean, you aren't gonna get me to say that showing light on the genocide in Gaza was bad. There were many ways for the Democrats to better navigate that situation, so that's hardly her fault.
It also probably wouldn't have helped, since the post-Covid political upsets were fairly global.
I mean, she's only started on the inequality stuff in like 2024, so obviously she would have made more progress so far on the thing she spent most of her career on. π
Plus, climate is something that even capitalism can get behind. Inequality is a harder thing to get the machine to acknowledge.
This was a criticism commonly levied at her in her climate activism days, so this is nothing new.
It already has and will continue to do so. Capitalism also has caused massive harm and will continue to do so. She clearly feels she's able to do more good by bringing more awareness to the latter.
She's now focusing on addressing the underlying cause. Climate change is just a symptom.
I appreciate the anti-bullying efforts that Bluesky aspires to, but I still feel sad about missing out on gossip when a "Blocked" post in a quote tweet graces my timeline
I think it's a fairly North American thing, likely popularized through our religious revival culture, which started in the 1700s and probably spread through the second and third Great Awakenings. Lots of the things to be suspect about with revival culture, esp snake oil doctrine like this
Also! As a Christian who has studied a bunch of this stuff, the pre-trib rapture version of the end-times was made up in the last couple hundred years or so. About as old as Mormonism.
It has entered "death cult" status, in my mind.
So much of my mentality going into 2026 is "fuck it, we ball"
So let's fuckin ball πͺ
All those models that told us to be prudent about solar powering the world - fuck em
And really, things like Claude Code make an incredible argument for this now. As a iPad Pro user (but not a dev), I've spent more time in my Mac terminal in the last year than I have in my lifetime.
Sure, but the inevitability of the transition is already there, and the war with Iran may all but seal it. We know 2025 is a hard compare in a ton of ways, and AI is far from the biggest reason why.
