OTD - 1990 Launch of STS-31R carrying the Hubble Space Telescope. We were there.
OTD - 1983 Crew of Soyuz-T8 return to earth after a 2 day ride attempting to dock with Salyut-7. Soyuz had a limited amount of fuel and battery power to make another attempt. Other Soyuz crews faced the same dilemma over the years. Soyuz-23, 25 & 33 failed to dock with Salyut-6.
