Why is it you take the time to send me and invitation to your wedding or an announcement of a newborn, I buy a gift on your gift list or l spend 100 hours hand knitting a baby blanket for you never to hear from you again. I am not even asking that you acknowledge my gift with a handwritten stamped note. A text or email would suffice. Are these generations so privileged that manners have gone completely out the window. After so many occurrences I now have a rule —you get one gift, if no thank you note you will never received another gift.
