Variations my Multi Track has gone through. Probably another to come for the summer.

Honk
Was surprisingly hard to quickly get Link to the Forest Temple boss room without like...actually beating the entire temple (ended up spoofing a save file to get me to the entrance, and then using this clip).

Had the random idea over the weekend to make this rather odd video.

List of Reddit comments from r/AskConservatives, where some users justify discussion of Trump running for a third term as "trolling".
A small selection of the frequent trend seen justifying the viewpoints espoused by the GOP and conservative circles--it's all just trolling.
It seems frankly juvenile to want elected (and unelected) representatives to spend their time pointlessly needling people.
Does this guy have an AI hustle going on or something. I swear every other day on my feed there's some goofy little anecdote about how learning to use AI is imperative to one's education.
This is my current favourite video on the internet.

It's been a bit of a journey.

Yes, I was referring to the linked GitHub repo above, where I am wrapping UPhysics as an alternative to the existing ECS wrapper.
Also yeah, Burst did massively improve the performance, much closer to what I'd expect now.
Those that haven't used UPhysics might wonder why I care at all.
As a "stateless" and deterministic* physics engine, it's ideal for online networking, where clients are frequently fed new states from the server, sliding the entire world back and forth through time. PhysX is not ideal for this.
You can see the lines that are profiled here:
UPhysics: github.com/IronWarrior/...
PhysX: github.com/IronWarrior/...
This seems pretty out there to me. Obviously I'd expect performance overhead from re-wrapping it, but I figured the above test should eliminate that as relevant.
If the wording above seems strange, it's because I was testing PhysX against my Game Object wrapper for UPhysics. Although I haven't optimized the package at all, this shouldn't be relevant as I'm only profiling the Simulation.ScheduleStepJobs method.

Comparing the performance of an entire physics step of Unity's built-in physics engine, PhysX, with *just* the simulation stage of the poorly-named stateless engine, "Unity Physics".
Finding PhysX ~10x faster for a 125 cube drop.

Why are these two selectors dropdowns in Unity. Like they used to just be toggles. Seems a bit superfluous for buttons I click a lot.
4d pot
took me like 10 minutes to wrap my brain around what is going on with the pot in this pic
Not the kinda group you want to run into in a dark alleyway

Gotta publicly find Facebook Marketplace for its societal value.
Maybe, like a lot of issues of scarcity, it's less a problem of quantity and more of distribution.
I feel this way when seeing a lot of things--do we need more flowerpots packing the shelves of Home Hardware when there are probably billions of unused ones hiding in our homes? How many more coffee mugs does humanity actually need?
I don't really understand the point of purchasing furniture new at retail prices when you have insane deals like this kicking around constantly.
It feels like we've produced enough of this stuff to last our species lifetime.
And again.

Incredibly fascinating book for anyone interested in the day-to-day experiences of a WW2 fighter pilot. Knocke describes his battles in vivid detail with a very direct writing style.
Makes for a great companion to WW2 flying sims like IL-2 Sturmovik.
It's an interesting parallel, given how both movements tend to focus on masculinity as something that decidedly does not include wearing makeup.
Despite his negative impression of Göring's appearance, Knocke does not judge him too harshly--full quote in context:
Donald Trump with spray-on tan.
"The bloated, puffy face makes him look to me like a sick man. Close up, I am forced to the conclusion that he uses cosmetics."
- Luftwaffe pilot Heinz Knocke upon meeting Herman Göring in "I Flew for the Fuhrer"
