Definitely in the same sense that, say, Warhammer Fantasy Battles 1e was, where it could readily be used as either a wargame or adventuring framework (though with a similar level of ruthless lethality to Car Wars).

TTRPG with old-school "you can die in character creation" mechanics, except most terminal events are stuff like "reached adulthood with no major traumas" or "found a love of carpentry", so your goal is to make enough bad life choices that your character is a big enough loser to become an adventurer.
Probably (Marvel) Transformers, I think. Got the big oversized bundle of the miniseries and I was hooked. But it was tough to get issues, often places just sold out and for awhile there was no recourse when that happened.

They didn't do this just to make them look cool as fuck, but in order to study their vision. Using a 3D theatre made for the cuttlefish, they were able to test if cuttlefish have stereo vision (they do!)

There was a girl I hung out with as a teen that insisted she had an Youngstown mobster uncle who could do hits for her, almost certainly bunk, but definitely shows the city's rep.
Youngstown was infamous as a mob town when I was growing up as a place you "just don't go", and the fact there was a car bomb going off every two months in the late '70s / early '80s (the good old "Youngstown tune-up") didn't do a lot to put a lie to that assertion.
