O’Leary, being the dipshit he is, is putting 100% of the water risk on a municipality, and sets up an interesting problem: if the province grants the licenses to the drought-stricken municipality, how can they claim to be managing water resources responsibly?

“Before the sale goes through, the municipality must "act as an agent" for O'Leary's company by securing provincial water licences that give the facility access to up to 24 million cubic metres of water annually.”

Last year the municipality declared an agricultural emergency because of drought.

Alberta has been a province for 121 years and have had exactly one left-ish government in all that time. Two thoughts: why gerrymander the ridings when there is such a slim chance of a non-Con government? What horrific shit do they have planned with little to no oppo members in the leg? #abpoli
