The Kentucky Senate passed a bill that would allow colleges to lay off tenured faculty with 30 days of notice if program enrollments are determined to be low, going well beyond the norm of discontinuing the program in order to do layoffs.
Glasses are a disability justice issue. Glasses are a healthcare issue. If you need glasses to see clearly, you are disabled. This is my bonus wokest take. It shouldn't be controversial even a little, and its weird to me people don't see glasses like this.
