Today, instead of 'Blue Monday' which has been widely discredited as a load of nonsense, let's have a #BrewMonday instead - every day is a good day to check in on a friend or colleague over a cup of tea, and this is your reminder to make it today!

Finding and speaking up with our tribe is so important I think, so I'm hoping BlueSky is a great opportunity! The old place had turned into a barrier... #NurseSky

Hello lovely!! Been far too long, are you ok? Miss you xx

I absolutely identify with this - I found it a real crisis of professional identity when I moved out of a patient facing role. It took a lot of reflection and support from other brilliant nurses to figure it out, that we need the nursing voice in loads of settings! Not just at the bedside! #NurseSky

Really loved being on this panel - I think Liam put us together on purpose knowing we'd be a group who enjoyed being mischievous and provocative and disruptive! Great to talk about empowering the frontline, acknowledging that we are not doing enough. Any thoughts from BlueSky? What should we do?

We pay too much attention to the most confident voices—and too little attention to the most thoughtful ones.

Conviction is not a sign of credibility. Speaking assertively is not a substitute for reflecting deeply.

It's better to learn from complex thinkers than smooth talkers.

Couldn't agree more - we must always start with the problem, otherwise we just end up pouring money into expensive tech which doesn't meet any need or give any benefit.

Last night I met up with my syndicate from the Windsor Leadership course I did 2 years ago. We visited Parliament for a tour & dinner as one of the group works there & chatted about our latest leadership challenges - a brilliant way to keep developing. How do you continuously improve as a leader?

Looking forward to hearing more about the book - when do you expect that to be available? Definitely on the 'must read' list!

Thank you for your thoughtful reply - all the points you made resonate & came up today. I heard about change fatigue, & lack of time and resource, but an absolute commitment to continuous improvement to benefit patients & staff. The will is there, but it's taking lots of resilience to keep going.
