Due to a strange turn of events, I might be able to introduce Arsenal to an LGS this Friday!
Reminder that the goal is still to get the @arsenalmtg.bsky.social Discord Server to 100 people!

They’re really close! If your whole playgroup jumped in to give it a try, it would be HUGE!
Twenty to goal, and you could be a part of the first 100 members of a fun, new format!
I saw Arsenal was trending, and I was disappointed to realize it was the football club and not the MTG format. @arsenalmtg.bsky.social

A.
And I use my @redeyedeckguide.bsky.social to make deckbuilding and card-sorting easy and fast.
I organize by jobs, using my @redeyedeckguide.bsky.social as a guide
BTW, check out that @teamhandsin.bsky.social logo!
Really, I want my Skull Symbol to grow and continue to foster a positive, inclusive community.
While I'd like to see numbers grow on my YouTube, my @arsenalmtg.bsky.social format, my Quote of Arms podcast, and my @teamhandsin.bsky.social collective, the big thing is to cultivate community 😊
In addition to EDHREC and Herald, I've also written a deckbuilding blog called the @redeyedeckguide.bsky.social, which I hope to adapt to YouTube someday. It's about organizing cards and brewing decks to maximize synergy and budget.

For as long as I've been writing for EDHREC, the money I make for my columns has been my Magic budget. I've made over 2K just from writing, and I have yet to spend a cent on Magic beyond that, building decks primarily out of bulk or on a budget. That's the power of the @redeyedeckguide.bsky.social
Current state of the project:
My aim is to remake my YouTube, bit.ly/unsummonedskull, to first make shorts around individual packages and then make deck techs showing how those packages fit together to make decks.
The hope is that this makes it so that deckbuilding is a fun puzzle that a variety of players can engage in; players can organize their bulk and find hidden gems by learning how to make and use packages; and players can learn how to engage with different colors by communicating through their terms.
I'm working on amassing a series of packages for each of the sections of card evaluations in @moxfield.com and @archidekt.com to assist in deckbuilding, as well as a series of YouTube shorts about each type of card evaluation and how to mix and match packages to build decks.
Currently, the project exists in the form of a blog, as well as my first series for EDHREC, These Cards do Work!, and my current series of deck techs on Commander's Herald. Still, I'd like to make this more accessible and useful, so here's what I'm looking to do:
The "Red Eye" title comes from "Red Eye Gravy", which has some coffee in it to wake the eater up from the relaxation of soul food. Red Eye decks are meant to be structurally and mathematically sound, so that they can be run with minimal investment while embracing the chaos EDH provides on its own.
The Red Eye Project came about when I was trying to simplify my decks by emphasizing synergy and functional reprints over powerful cards and unique effects. This enabled me to build decks that felt and played unique despite being built similarly.
