One number I keep in my head is that the Sun is about 200,000 times brighter than the full Moon. So even cutting off 90% of it is still pretty dang bright.

Never discuss budgets in front of large appliances. In other news, my washing machine has died.

(FYI this goes double for cars -- NEVER say anything about money in front of your car. Cars are assholes.)

I *loved* MADNESS LIES. I still think about that take on “Merchant of Venice”.

My biggest suggestion is, go to a fountain pen store and find out what is in your budget and feels good in your hand and puts a smile on your face. Write with different pens. When you find your happy pen you will know.

I did not know this was a thing. I’m so glad I do now!
