Took some pictures on a walk this evening. I love these Digger Bees. They hover in one place and wiggle while they evaluate what they're looking at, it's adorable. Honey bee's don't seem to give a shit if I hold a camera close, but these guys are super aware of what's happening. Very cute.

First Battletech miniature I've painted in at least 10 years. It was a fun experience, there's always something fun about these little robuts. This one came from the Alpha Strike box set. I'll never play with it, but the miniatures are cool as heck.

TL:DR - Trying to meet new people in an age of technology and websites like this is basically considered a crime in the eyes of the popular.

There's been so many people I've seen on here that get fucked over by various factors, namely that people don't want to reach out and speak to them or promote their content whilst others basically use this place as a second discord for their friends whilst they horde likes.

To even get some kind of response from people you have to either fit a specific niche or already be super famous inside a specific genre. No one wants to waste their time talking to randoms online because, oh no they might say something they don't like.

Outliers try and try to just simply do one thing, mingle. You know, that scary thing of trying to reach out and make some new friends? Yeah, apparently that's practically illegal on the internet now because you have to fit a very specific mold for anyone to take notice.

No one wants to communicate in an age where its extremely easy to do so, and from my perspective its fucking disgusting. Everyone's just locking themselves away, padding themselves up from the outside world.

Has everyone just forgotten the concept of meeting new people or just wanting to talk? Everyone's surrounded by yass queens who protect them from the outside world. There are a few exceptions that deviate from this but a majority are still like this.

A friend told me a long time ago that he hates the way the fandom has gone. I agree with him, but its not just the fandom. Its people as a whole. Its too hard now for people to simply ask "Hey, how you doing?" without it being seen either as a scam or someone who is trying to get something from you
