Sometimes (always) changing printers in CUPS can be a royal pain in the wotsits. When you create a printer it associates it with a PPD file, when you want to change the driver ... IT KEEPS THE PISSIN' PPD ASSOCIATION!!!

Liberal use of the 'rm -f /etc/cups/ppd/this-feckin-printer.ppd' was required
