I've been getting that as. While searching videos, every 6th or so says no views, then I click it and it says the number on the page itself.

Also, LUNARK is human-made, frame by frame. No AI involved, just pure dedication and love for the craft. ๐Ÿฅฐ

I just found this performance today from this really fucking interesting wacko band. It's just two people rocking out with a looper and microtonal shit.

Whatever this sound is really scratches my itch. It really rustles my jimmies. It really washes my cloth.

Weird thought... So the Steam Frame is going to have USB-C on the back for charging AND data. With it being basically a PC, I'm wondering how easy it could be to plug that into a dock with HDMI and make it a low powered PC outside of VR as well. I'm so curious about the use cases from this thing.

I feel like new AI-isms that will be spoted in games will be a reflection on what has been done over and over, because AI averages out to the nearest trope. This will most likely encourage devs to make even more unique projects out of spite.

Indies & real art will always shine through. Fuck gen AI.

MAAAAAAN, I had a dream where I was using the Steam Frame. It was in my grasp, on my head, then I woke up. I didn't realize how much I wanted this thing.

I generally abstain from feeling I need products, but like I've been saving for years for the potential that a new Valve headset would be a thing

Also, there is an extension called Unhook that helps hide shorts, comments, recommendations, and general YouTube features that can be more distracting. I just like having more intent on what I want to watch.

YouTube Shorts are my doom scroll poison. I HAVE FOUND THE HACK TO DEFEAT IT!!

I know it's convenient to have YouTube history on, but I really don't miss it when the exchange of having it off is far greater. You can adapt to saving videos in playlists if you really need to remember something.

@sodaraptor.bsky.social Hay, have you considered putting your games on GOG? With Steam's DRM, people (including me) have been getting more games on GOG and Itchio. GOG games have been more convenient to play compared to itch on Linux/SteamOS by using GOG through Heroic Launcher.

Toy Story 5... replaced by the tablet.

It's real, stupid, yet actually interesting. I don't know how to feel.

#Valve #SteamOS #SteamMachine #Linux
For anyone worried that Mods will be difficult to get running on the Steam Machine with it being Linux, just know that R2modman has a Linux appimage and it works great. Nexus mods is also trying to get their platform fully working on Linux this year apparently.

For how indecisive the Linux community can be, I don't think this is a cut and dry thing.

I think stars need to align, more niche drivers and use cases need support, more PC makers need options for Linux in prebuilds, more accessibility, and probably some more magic from Valve needs to happen.

The Linux community growing is great, but I'm confused when people talk about 'The Year of Linux Desktop'. People speculate that it will happen every year, but no one defines what the threshold is. What all do you think needs to happen for that "Year of Linux" threshold to pass?

WHAT!? I logged on at a great fucking time!

Valve's SteamOS is Linux and they have a whole accessibility tab in search. I just feel that if a game says it has 'Narrated Game Menus' for accessibility, it should be considered how the accessibility feature works on Linux, especially when Valve brought and is bringing so many people to Linux.

BROK the InvestiGator on Steam An innovative adventure mixed with beat 'em up and RPG elements. In a grim world where animals have replaced mankind, what kind of detective will you be?

One game that has a screen reader voice in the game and is fully blind accessible is BROK the InvestiGator made by @cowcatgames.com. You can also turn off the built in one and have the game reach out to a screen reader on your computer. Something to consider.

Games on Linux using proton ATM can't reach out to screen readers. I tested the program NVDA, nothing. I just want to recommend devs normalize having a screen reader built in the game or lines prerecorded from a screen reader or a person, because in game should work on Linux.

Grant Kirkhope is making music for a Glitch show?! Every time I hear that Grant is doing the music for something I like, it's similar to getting excited spotting a voice actor in an animation like Rob Paulsen or Jim Cummings like "OH SHIT, IT'S THE LEGEND"!

Kick ass, Grant!

Clip studio paint works with vectors. Many people have used CSP for storyboarding. You only need to pay once, unless you really want to upgrade to every new version.
