Still here, just slowing down on my posting for a bit.
I have been reading some books about or involving the Norse and Greek pantheons. I am not sure how it seemed at there period, but their lack of empathy or self awareness is appalling in these books.
I hope you are all doing well and have eaten something delicious lately. For me it was some twin mushroom beef and spicy garlic eggplant from a neighborhood restaurant. Sorry, I was enjoying it too much to remember to photograph.

Picture of the jar of homemade mustard
I just finished making my first batch of homemade yellow mustard. Hope this is good enough to replace the store bought stuff in plastic containers.

I was a little proud of myself this past weekend. I didn’t break my no buy/ low buy. I was tempted on a few things, but I asked myself if I really needed it or if I’ll be bored with the stuff in a few days.
Black and white picture of a short metal pier viewed from shore looking toward the ocean
I was once told to take a long walk off a short pier. ( I didn’t) #monochrome

It is and I’m having a bit of fun learning its capabilities.
Low tide has exposed a rock path that visually leads you to Ko’olau volcanic cone across the bay.
As part of my low consumerism journey , I’ve dusted off an 11 year old digital camera in the house to start another photographic journey. From yesterday’s morning walk. #monochromelife

Seven magic mountains, large stacked and painted rocks with site seers
I heard Seven Magic Mountains is being taken down. I was glad I got to see it this past December when I visited Nevada.
I’m at the point where I’ve downsized quite a lot. I haven’t gone bare minimum. I plan to use up things before I buy a replacement. I probably can’t buy a new backpack for 20 years based on this plan & I love backpacks.

The level of corporate greed is astounding. No amount of money seems to be enough.
That is cool. I’ve been seeing some people moving to matcha. I’ll have to explore this more myself.
Do you think that you could convert from coffee to only tea? It something I have been thinking about since I have read coffee could become scarce.
I drink my coffee iced without anything else. I know it’s not for everyone, but I got called a psycho for it once. Ouch!
I’m wearing more safety gear than I used to in my youth.
It may not be the best idea, but I decided to pick up skateboarding after pausing for a couple decades.
