It happens in other sports too, in Ice Hockey, they typically play every other day. When a team has 4-5 days off they often don't play well because of the break, they look like they've never played with each other before. Same situation here.

Yup they should have been playing multiple tbh, players always say there's a difference between march practice and training etc. The gaps between games has been ridiculous and hopefully we can pull over the line this season.

My personal opinion is that we're playing too few games to get in a rhythm with each other (hence the slow start against Leeds). Leeds played the week before, and came out of the blocks sharp and quick. We looked better after they'd had some minutes in their legs 🤷
